In counselling

In a person-centred counselling session, the focus is on the individual and their unique thoughts, feelings, and experiences. The counsellor creates a safe and non-judgmental space for the individual to explore and process their emotions, and to work towards their own goals and solutions alongside oneanother.

During the session, I will actively listen and offer support, while also challenging you to think more deeply about your feelings and experiences. The goal is to help you better understand yourself and your emotions, and to empower you to make positive changes in your life. The pace and direction of the session is led by you, and I will follow your lead and help you to stay focused on the issues that are most important to you. There is no set agenda or script, and you are free to discuss whatever is on your mind.

Anything that is discussed during the session is confidential and will not be shared with anyone else without your explicit consent. The confidentiality of the counselling session is crucial in creating a safe and trusting environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.
