I believe that it is important for counsellors to be transparent with their fees, and I strive to be upfront and clear about my pricing. My standard fee for a 50-minute counselling session is £50. However, I understand that financial constraints can be a barrier to accessing counselling, and I am committed to making my services as affordable as possible for those in need.
As a person-centred counsellor, it is important to me that my services are accessible to all individuals, regardless of their income level. That is why I offer a reduced payment option for those on lower incomes, with a minimum option of £30 for the first session and £40 going forwards. I am also open to working fortnightly to spread out the cost of counselling as I understand that cost is an important factor when looking for the right therapist and strive to treat each client as an individual with their own needs.
I understand the importance of personal therapy as a part of counselling training as this was something I experienced in my own training. That is why I offer a lower fee of £40 per session for counselling students who require personal therapy as part of their studies. I believe that it is important for future counsellors to have the opportunity to experience the therapeutic process firsthand, and I am committed to supporting students in their professional development. If you are a counselling student in need of personal therapy, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
If you are interested in working with me, but are concerned about the cost, please do reach out. I am happy to discuss my sliding scale options and to see if we can find a fee that works for you.
